DO YOU KNOW?

I'm studying on a new chapter again.

Now i know so much better about seeds of flowering plants..

http://gardening.wsu.edu/library/vege004/vege004.htm

When we eat strawberry...
The fruit we eat is NOT the strawberry.
Strawberry is the receptacle.
The "seed" on the surface, is the fruit.
Same goes to apple.

Actually inside the seed, there's like a miniature leaf..
called cotyledon..

Endosperm is the "nutrients" for the seed to grow during the early stage of development.
A seedling.
Why is nature so fascinating?

For example, pollinators have preference on what type of flowers they like.
They are just insect or animals..
Yet, they choose them even though all the flowers produce nectar.

Have you ever wondered how amazing living things around us are?
