Life in Afghanistan

I was reading "TODAY" newspaper.

I was struck by horror.

"Law legalises spousal rape"

Quoting from the newspaper, "... Shia woman cannot refuse to have sex with their husbands..., " and "husbands have the right to have sex every fourth night unless the wife is ill."

What the hell is that all about?!?!?!?!

What do you mean unless she's ill?!?!??!?!

Ok.

So a woman just gave birth not long ago.
On the fourth night, the husband comes home, "Let's have sex."
Wife, "My wound has not heal."
Husband, "Too bad. It's just a wound, you're not ill. The law says you cannot refuse me."
So he rapes her.

OR.

Wife did all the house work for the entire day.
Fed and bathed her 10 kids. (Ok, i know quite stereotyping.)
Husband comes home, "I'm going to rape you."
Wife, "I'm so tired. I really don't have the mood."
Husband, "Too bad. You're not ill. You have no say."
So he rapes her.

Oh my God...

GOD SAVE THOSE WOMEN!!!!

Gosh.. What's wrong with them?!?!??!?!?

I am so so sOOOOoooOOOO sad for the women there.

How can this happen to them?!

Do they not have feelings?

Do they not have rights?

Are they not human?

Are they sex tools or toys?

Who are they?

They have a life.

They want to live happily.

Not being forced into something they don't like.

Gosh.........

I wish this law will disappear soon..

Please God. Help them.
