we selected a flat. but my name is still stuck under my parents' flat. so we are given 3 months to remove. but somehow, i don't think it can happen. once HDB said will take about one month to approve, but they took 5 months with no news. went to see them recently, say need another 2-3 months... ... ..
let's imagine they approve. we need to start financing the flat. so we have to postpone the wedding. my pastor say don't get married because of a flat. said he'll write in to extend our key collection date so that we can finish the marriage prep course etc to settle down.
so my bf was thinking if we should hold the church wedding first, renovate the house then have chinese banquet few years later.
but i felt i don't want to hold 2 weddings on two separate years...but we are not sure if we can afford to hold chuch + chinese banquet.need to rent gown, cars, make-up artist, photographer etc.
we are still considering.
i'm not sure if we should get married first, or renovate the house first if we get the house.
if we don't get the house, should we go on with the marriage or postpone the marriage.but if we don't go on with the marriage, then this confirms what my pastor said that we are getting married because of a house.although it is also not exactly, because we bought the bridal photoshoot package since last year dec... we have been discussing about it since last year.. just that all of sudden we got a flat, and now we have to rush into ROM.
i don't know if i should email Minister Khaw Boon Wan, tell him about this HDB issue. That it needs 7-8 months just to consider if they aprrove to allow my sister to be owner of my parents' flat. Apparently, the staff say have 6 levels of approval to go, since Minister is the biggest authority, maybe i should email him. but if i email him, will i make matter worse? arrrrrrrrrrgh.
